In addition to lifestyle modifications, Weight loss injections can be a great addition in helping you reach your weight loss goals. Tirzepatide Which is a relatively new medication on the market, was initially used for the management of type 2 diabetes. Tirzepatide was FDA approved for a weight management in 2024. Tirzepatide is a dual-action medication mimicking the actions of two hormones (GIP and GLP-1) offering a broader approach to weight loss than Semaglutide. Tirzepatide helps, restore the gut brain connection by targeting areas of the brain that control hunger. In return this helps cut out the constant food noise. Tirzepatide is administered as a subcutaneous injection once weekly typically in the stomach, upper arms or thighs.
